A graduate of Davenport University, Ms. Roman is a uniquely experienced manager and communicator within the healthcare community, having worked in multiple hospital ICU and CCU environments, home health operations, community mental health, and the non-profit sector.

Rachel's suite of technical and human-relation experiences, both professionally and personally, have led her to insights and strengths of understanding the human factors, from the standpoint of individuals, families, extended families, and communities. These include critical issues with respect to many current, chronic and fundamental healthcare - and particularly public health - challenges which are faced by today's society and which are the subject of several research initiatives within TETRAD Istitute.

Key Engagements and Experiences include:

• Neurological and neuromuscular dysautonomic disorders and diseases, including POTS and MALS
• Cardiac arrhythmia including tachycardia and AFIB
• Chronic stress and fatigue disorders
• Care of the physically disabled and neurologically impaired
• Care and nursing for persons afflicted with severe psychological disorders
• Physical and psychological abuse, violence, trafficking,m subjugation and PTSD from a variety of origins and stimuli
• Interpersonal and community conflict originating from agism, sexism, and ethnic/cultural barriers
• Understanding through direct practice and management of nursing methods and communication protocols for developing better patient-provider and community health communications
